Rafael was Born in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil. His love for horses started when he was 8 years old when he got his first horse. Rafael served in the military for 4 years where he worked with the Brazilian Calvary. In 2008 He started Training Reining Horses. In 2013 He came to the USA to Train Reining Horses at Alpha Quarter Horses and worked with this company for 5 years.  He met his wife Julia Frati in 2014. Julia was working at Xtra Quarter Horses as the veterinarian responsible for the Equine Reproduction Department. That is when Rafael and Julia Started the dream for ProFuture Equine. In 2017 ProFuture was born! His company started with 4 Broodmares and 4 clients. ProFuture now works with over 200 Broodmares a year and over 600 recipient mares. Rafael’s knowledge of the equine business has allowed him to be a consultant and sales expert. Since 2016 his sales average $6,000,000.00 a year. 

Julia has been involved in the horse industry since she was a kid. Running barrels for almost 20 years in Brazil. Graduating in 2009 with her degree in Veterinary Medicine, in Brazil. She did the mandatory internship at Troy Ford Equine Hospital in Clovis, California. After graduating, she started an internship with Matt Gomulak, DVM followed by another internship with Dr David Hartman at at Hartman Equine Reproduction Center of Whitesboro. TX. In the end of 2014 she started working for for Silver Spurs Equine (Priorly known as Xtra Quarter Horses Before) as head of the Equine Reproduction Department. Silver Spurs is home to Wimpys Little Step, Sparkling Vintage, Spooks Gotta Gun and many other stallions that impacted our equine industry. As head of the equine reproduction department she was responsible for semen collection, artificial insemination, and embryo transfer of more than 300 horses and more.

 In 2019 my partner, Rafael Celeste, and I opened our business called PROFUTURE EQUINE REPRODUCTION. We started this equine breeding facility in Lexington, OK where we grew our business into what it is today! With the help of our great clients, we were able to purchase the legendary Oklahoma Stud Ranch where I am currently the chief of staff, veterinarian, and owner. 

Born and raised on a farm in Ohio, Dr. Joe Boecker, DVM, started his veterinary education at Ohio State University. After his graduation in 1974, he began an internship under Dr. Charles Graham at Southwest Stallion Station in Elgin, Texas. Shortly after completing his internship, he became a resident veterinarian at White Sulfur Springs Farm in Georgetown, Kentucky. From there, he worked his way up to becoming a resident veterinarian for the Worldwide Bloodstock Agency in Arcadia, California. He spent five years as a veterinarian before he began to manage Xalapa Farm in Paris, Kentucky. He would go on to spend the next 2 years at Xalapa gaining management experience before opening his own private practice in his home state of Ohio. 

At his private practice, the primary focus was equine reproduction. In 1999, he began working with Dr. David McCarrol at Interstate Equine Services in Goldsby, Oklahoma. He stayed here for 10 years getting experience in emergency and ambulatory services until he became the hospital caseload manager. He spent most of his time focusing on internal medicine including pre and post op medical management.  He held this position for 5 years before deciding to transition into equine reproduction and dentistry. From there, he opened his second private practice as well as becoming the consulting veterinarian for Xtra Quarter Horses in Purcell, Oklahoma where he met Dr. Julia Frati and Rafael Celeste. Here he began his journey with ProFuture Equine working as our beloved veterinary consultant.

Dawn Gomes is the financial Administrator for Profuture. Dawn has been with the company since 2019. Her hands on Business Experience started in Brazil where she owned and operated a chain of high-end hair salons. Being fluent in Portuguese has been key since the CEO’s of Profuture are Brazilian. Her magic power is finding people and resources to put the dreams of Profuture into action. 

Dawn Loves to cook! Brazilian Cuisine is her favorite. She has 3 beautiful daughters and 6 beautiful grandchildren. She has loved growing with the company.
